Demi Moore is the latest star to make the leap from the big screen to the small one. The actress is making her TV return in the pilot drama “10 Days in the Valley.”
Moore will play Jane Sadler, an “overworked writer and single mother” who is separating from her husband. Then their five-year-old daughter is kidnapped and she does whatever she can to get her back, reports Deadline.
“Rookie Blue” co-creator and executive producer Tassie Cameron wrote the script and will serve as showrunner. The program is currently being shopped around to networks. It will mark Moore’s first major TV role in 20 years.
The actress kicked off her TV career on “General Hospital” in the 1980s before transitioning to film. Her last small screen appearance was a guest role on “Will & Grace” in 2003.
Moore currently appears in the western “Forsaken” opposite Kiefer and Donald Sutherland. Two upcoming films include “Wild Oats” and “Blind.”
